Hi, I’m Helen, and I believe your beloved companion and beautiful home deserve the same level of care and attention you provide—even when wanderlust calls.

My Journey to Luxe Leash

My love for animals began in childhood, growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, and even a rabbit who taught me that every pet has their own unique personality and needs. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for an incredible variety of companions—from energetic puppies and wise senior dogs to the more unusual residents like hedgehogs, geckos, fish, and yes, even hermit crabs!

What started as helping friends and colleagues with their pets during travels evolved into something deeper during an extended house sit for a close friend in Brooklyn. That experience showed me how much peace of mind comes from knowing your home and plants (or home and pet) are in the hands of someone who truly cares.

My Approach to Care

I specialize in caring for dogs and small animals, as well as providing attentive house sitting for homes without pets. (While I grew up with cats, I’ve developed allergies and focus on the pets I can care for best.)

Every pet has their own routine, preferences, and quirks—from the 2-year-old puppy who needs extra playtime to the 17-year-old senior who prefers gentle walks and cozy naps. I take time to understand your companion’s unique needs and maintain their comfort while you’re away.
